Workshop Overview
Many clinicians enter the field with broad interests but struggle to articulate who they serve best and how to align their work with their strengths, values, and professional goals. This interactive workshop guides participants through a process of self-reflection, clinical exploration, and professional identity development to identify potential areas of specialization, clarify their ideal client population, and begin developing a clinician bio that reflects their unique approach to practice. Participants will leave with greater confidence in communicating their professional identity and intentionally shaping their clinical career path.
Learning Objectives
By the end of this training, participants will be able to:
Identify personal strengths, values, experiences, and clinical interests that contribute to the development of a therapeutic niche.
Differentiate between broad areas of practice and a clearly defined ideal client population to support intentional professional growth and service alignment.
Develop a draft clinician bio that communicates their ideal client, clinical focus, and therapeutic approach in a clear and professional manner.
