Workshop Overview

This course is designed to build confidence in clinicians when it comes to diagnosing and treatment planning. In addition to that they will learn the importance of smart goals while creating treatment plans so that clients can be more successful during the treatment process.  

Learning Objectives

By the end of this training, participants will be able to: 

  1. Identify key concepts of diagnosing

  2. Analyze subjective and objective information during the treatment planning process.

  3. Interpret the inverted pyramid method for case conceptualization.

  4. Recognize key elements of the treatment planning process.

  5. Identify treatment planning resources.

  6. Apply S.M.A.R.T goals to the treatment planning process.

  7. Explain the importance of quarterly reviews in the treatment process .

  8. Identify various interventions that can be implemented during counseling sessions.

  9. Analyze the client map model.
