Workshop Overview
This training explores how to bring child-centered play therapy principles into the virtual space. Participants will learn practical strategies for creating engaging, safe, and supportive online play environments while applying essential CCPT skills to guide sessions effectively. Through discussion and hands-on examples, clinicians will gain tools to foster connection, promote emotional expression, and maintain a child-led focus in teleplay therapy.
Learning Objectives
By the end of this training, participants will be able to:
Define the principles of child-centered play therapy (CCPT) and explain how they apply in virtual settings.
Identify ways to create a safe, inviting virtual play environment for children.
Apply core CCPT skills throughout planning, facilitation, and conclusion of teleplay sessions.

2:45 - 3:30pm: Core CCPT Skills in the Virtual Playroom
3:30 - 3:50pm: Teleplay Session Practice and Clinical Application

If you have registered but are unable to attend a scheduled course, please notify The Community Reach, LLC – Approved Provider for the Association for Play Therapy as soon as possible by emailing training@thecommunityreach.org.
Refund Policy
Full Refund Minus 20% Service Fee: Cancellations received at least 14 calendar days before the course start date are eligible for a refund of fees less a 20% service charge.
50% Refund: Cancellations received between 13 and 5 calendar days before the course start date will be refunded 50% of the course fee.
No Refund: Cancellations received within 4 calendar days or less of the course start date will be non-refundable.
Substitutions
Name changes or participant substitutions are accepted at any time prior to the course start date at no additional charge.
Course Cancellation by The Community Reach, LLC
The Community Reach, LLC reserves the right to cancel any course due to insufficient enrollment.
Participants will be notified of cancellations no later than 7 business days prior to the scheduled course start date.
In the event of a cancellation, any prepaid registration fees will be fully refunded.
