Workshop Overview
This training explores how natural elements can enhance play therapy, supporting emotional expression, regulation, and connection. Participants will learn practical strategies to integrate nature-based interventions into existing play therapy models, navigate common implementation challenges, and creatively incorporate natural materials while maintaining safety and accessibility. This workshop equips clinicians to harness the therapeutic power of the outdoors for meaningful play experiences.

Identify therapeutic benefits of nature in play therapy.
Describe strategies for integrating nature-based interventions into play therapy.
Analyze barriers to implementing nature-based play therapy.
Practice two nature-based play therapy interventions.
