Hello! My name is Rashad Young, and I am currently pursuing my Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health at Webster University. As part of my academic journey, I am thrilled to be completing my practicum and internship at Community Reach, where I will have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in providing therapeutic services. In the advanced stages of my graduate studies, I have immersed myself in rigorous coursework and training in various therapeutic modalities, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Person-Centered Therapy, and Mindfulness-Based Approaches. This comprehensive academic background has equipped me with a robust theoretical foundation and practical skills essential for supporting individuals on their mental health journey. My goal is to collaborate with clients to help them achieve their personal goals and enhance their overall well-being. I have a particular interest in working with individuals experiencing anxiety, depression, and life transitions. I also have a passion for working with youth and families!
